In this position, you willbe a vital promoter of adopting Red Hat's solutions for our customers by using your technical expertise and interpersonal skills. Youll need to have a balance of solid technical experience, awareness of open source, a thorough understanding of business processes, and the ability to identify and solve issues at the enterprise level. Job Duties Guide customers in building scalable, optimally managed solutions and adaptable to technological improvements using Red Hat technologies. Continuously learn, grow, and adapt to new skills and technologies. Travel weekly, Monday-Friday, to client locations, some potentially outside your local area. Requirements Experience with delivering an implementation based on an architectural design Demonstrated ability to lead a technical project, including collaborating on project timelines and maintaining project and technical documentation Ability to identify stakeholder needs and set expectations regarding project timelines and scope of work Experience working collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders Knowledge and desire to mentor IAT Level II Certification (Security+, SSCP, CCNA Security, etc) Technical Requirements Associate or Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a technical discipline 3+ years of experience in the following areas Experience leading successful modern cloud platform consulting engagements Experience with Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 or later Experience utilizing Red Hat Satellite to deploy and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems. Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation and automation platforms like Chef and Puppet Demonstrated track record of working in a strategic advisory role to senior IT and business executives, including extensive experience presenting to C-level executives at large firms Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills Nice to Have Experience with Red Hat Openshift Container Platform Experience with Identity Management technologies, including but not limited to Red Hat Identity Manager, Microsoft Active Directory or other identity providers. Broad and deep technical experience with one or more virtualization and cloud technologies like OpenStack, Red Hat Virtualization, VMWare vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure About Us Northern Virginia-based Precision Solutions is an expert in staffing solutions for companies of any size that open the door to new opportunities and seek outstanding talent.
